TO VISIT THE GRAVES OF SHRINES OF THE WALIS

QUESTION

Revisiting Graves or Shrines of a Wali Radi Allaho Anhu. In Fiji there is a grave of Wali who came from India and Muslims they visit and respect to that blessed places in the town Navua. The Wali had also shown great Karamaat and even today it can be experienced whosoever visits the graves. The Wahabies claim it is un-Islamic to visit such places. Please provide a Fatawa regarding the cited subject and there is no Muslim Sunni Mufti currenty in Fiji and it is for reason I have knocked your door.

ANSWER

In this regard, I have to say that Wahabism is based on disrespecting the Prophets and Saints of Allah and they do not believe in their authority and miracles and so claim that visiting graves and shrines are anti- Islamic and settle such action contrary to the teachings of Islam and say that Muslims should refrain from visiting the graves and shrines and even performing worship at those places.

In fact, Wahabis have refused the commands of the Holy Quran and authentic Traditions of the Holy Messenger (Sallal-Laahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasallam) and have adopted very irrespective manners towards the Saints and pious persons. They are misled and every baseless act of Wahabis is against Islamic faith. The Holy Messenger (Sallal-Laahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasallam) has clearly stated:- i.e. “I had forbidden to visit the graves. But be attentive that now you do visit the graves.”

Every Sunni Muslim should ask the Wahabis to present the evidence about their claim. If they cannot present any evidence and surely they would not be able to do so, then it goes without saying that their claim is contrary to Islam. Verily! Everybody can point out that no one is opposing Islam but the Wahabis. In fact, Allah has bestowed upon His favorites, a great importance, and therefore, our Shariah urges Muslims to be in touch with the pious persons and wants to remain this connection till the last moment of life.


“Recite the statement of Hazrat Yusuf Alaihis Salaam, ‘Make me die as a Muslim and join me with those who are worthy to be very close to you’”. (Sura Yusuf: 101) Note: This invocation of Hazrat Yusuf Alaihis Salaam was to instruct the Ummah as the Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasallam) is preserved from evil end. This is the reason that the esteemed Prophet commanded his Ummah to visit the graves of virtuous persons. This practice has been continuing since the age of the preceding Prophets. The Holy Quran, narrating the saying of people about the men of the cave, says: “Those who prevailed in their affair said, ‘We swear that we shall erect over them a mosque’”. (Al-Kahaf: 21). Hence, everybody can derive clearly that Muslims in every age used to build the Mosque around the Shrine.

Since Saints are the favorites of Allah and close to Him, therefore the Muslim for beneficence visit the Shrines, perform Namaaz in the Mosque near of the Shrines, and undoubtedly, Muslims consider this act a good deed. Now they should answer whether the statement of Wahabis is contrary to Islam or the practice of Ahle-Sunnat which they have inherited by the virtuous persons from the very beginning of Islam and is still going on. It goes on without saying that whose action is contrary to Islam? This is the action of Wahabis only which is baseless in the light of the tradition of the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasallam) which says that Allah cursed the Jews as they assumed the graves of their Prophets in the form of the Mosques. I have to say that this Hadith is never supporting them. This is only backing up the Ahle Sunnat Wa-Jamaat.

The Jews built the Mosque directly on the graves and this is obvious that this is the contempting manner and irrespective. We never allow to build a Mosque over the graves. However, he who builds a Mosque near the grave of a Saint or performs Namaaz near a grave with the intention to seek spiritual help and to be benefited from the effects of Awliya; then there is no objection to this practice. You know that the Shrine of Hazrat Ismail Alaihis Salaam is in the premises of Masjidul Haram and it is very virtuous to perform Namaaz in certain place.

In this regard the verses of the Holy Quran i.e. “We swear that we shall erect over them a Mosque” has been stated before. It has been stated in “Jalalain” explaining the word Alaihim i.e. around their graves. Through this explanation given in Jalalain it goes on without saying that the Holy Quran legitimizes to build a Mosque around the grave and it can be derived very clearly that this practice has been going on by the Muslims since thousands of years. Wahabis committed contempt of Awliya in a more violent way and so they destroyed (demolished) the graves and Shrines and still they are not pleased to do so but they just want to obliterate the reverence of the Prophets and Saints absolutely from the heart of Muslims. That is why they urged Muslims neither to visit the graves nor to pay submission and devotion to them at all.

What is Maslak-e-Aala Hazrat?

ANSWER

Maslak-e-Aala Hazrat is not any innovated religion in the name of Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih. Really it is the same way which is well known amongst the Sunnis in the name of Maslak-e-Ahle Sunnat Wa Jama’at.

Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih never innovated any religion in his name. Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih has been awarded from ALLAH and His Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) for his dedication to serve Islam and reforms the practices of our Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wasallam). Therefore, ALLAH’S real Deen is introduced by the name of Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih, that’s why, Maslake Aala Hazrat is another name of Maslak-e-Ahle Sunnat Wa Jama’at.

There is not enough time to elaborate his teaching; however, I can compress all his thoughts and teachings in a few stanzas of his poetry which present the real faith and right beliefs of a real Muslim concerning the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) as he says:

“Allah Ki Sar Ta Baa Qadam Shaan Hain Yeh,
Insaa Nahin Insaan, Woh Insaan Hain Yeh,
Quran To Imaan Batata Hai Inhein,
Imaan Yeh Kahta Hai Meri Jaan Hain Yeh”

I have come to explain what Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih says, indicating to His Revered and Very Esteemed Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) as he is looking at him. This is the Glory and Jalwa of ALLAH from head to bottom (feet). This is such a man that no man is like him.

Moreover, I have to say aforesaid quatrain of Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih comprises one more belief which is not spoken but it is understood easily through the indication “THAT IS AQIDA-E-HAZIR-O-NAZIR” which can be explained in English in this manner that our Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) is present everywhere, observing everyone by his knowledge and through his insight. That is why the Muslim is instructed while performing Namaaz to consider himself in the presence of Holy Prophet Muhammed (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) and to say with due respect, “As Salaam-0-Alaika Ya Ayyuhan Nabi, Wa Rahmatullahi-Wa-Barakatuhu”. If he is unable to look at his beloved Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam), he must believe that his Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) is alive and he is in front of him observing his actions and looking at the condition of his heart wherever he may be.

This way Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih guides Muslims how to believe the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) and what is the right belief regarding the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam)? One can realize himself through his Aqida that Muhammad (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) is quite unparallel, unique and peerless so nobody in the whole Creation can compare to Him. Quran calls on people to believe the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) and calls him Imaan but Imaan states that the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) is “my spirit.”

This is not only the teachings of Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih but also the teachings of Kalimah and it is the voice of every Muslim’s heart so now you can know who the real Muslims are? There in no real Muslim but Ahle Sunnat Wa Jama’at.

In this connection, I would like to recall some stanzas of Hazrat Hassan Ibn Sabit Radi Allaho Ta’ala Anhu, the great poet of the dawn of Islamic age. Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) used to lay down the pulpit for him and commanded him so many times to stand on the pulpit depending the Reverential Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) and communicated good news to Hazrat Hassan Ibn Sabit Radi Allaho Ta’ala Anhu stating “Roohul Qudus” Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihe Salaato Wasallam is defending him. As longer he is defending his Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam).

So the above-mentioned poet of the dawn of Islamic age Hazrat Hassan Ibn Sabit Radi Allaho Ta’ala Anhu, praising his revered Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) says, “Never an eye witnessed more glorious than you, women have never given birth to the virtuous than you, you have been created free from every blemish, you seem to be created as you wished.” Every one can know through these words that Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih is not alone in regard with his belief concerning Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam), in realistic manner he complies in his belief with the faith of Holy Companions of Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam), and it proves that this is the real manner to believe Rasool (Sallal-Lahu Alaihi Wassallam) and the beliefs of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamaat have been inherited from the companions of Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam). That’s why Aala Hazrat Rehmatullah Alaih says:

“Ahle Sunnat Ka Hai Beda Paar,
Ashaba Huzoor Najm Hai,
Aur Nau Hai Itrat Rasool Allah Ki”

i.e. “Ahle Sunnat are delivered at trust the companions of your excellence of the leading stars and your descendents are just like a boat for deliverance”

This sense is the derivation from a Hadith in which Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) has compared his companions with the stars that has likened his defendants with the boat of Hazrat Nooh Alaihi Salaam.

In the meantime, there are some people trying to represent Islam in a wrong way, actually, they are not representing Islam but they are only trying to deprive Muslims from the spirit of Islam, as they say, “Muhammad (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) is a man like others”. Unfortunately, they try to justify this wrong tenet by means of the verses of Holy Quran, Para (16) “Say you, apparently in facial outlook of a man, I am like you, I receive Revelation that your Allah is one”. (Al-Kahf: Verse 110).

In this verse, ALLAH has commanded His Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) only to state in a humble way that he is apparently like others. Meanwhile, he is clarifying the things which separate him from the mankind, stating that the revelation comes to him that your deity is one so whilst ALLAH has commanded only His Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) to make such a statement in a humble way, how can his believers dare to turn the simile and claim that they are like the Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam).

It would be a very irrespective attitude towards respected Rasool (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam). They believe one part of this verse, meanwhile they do not believe the other part i.e. “I receive Revelation” (Al-Kahf: 110). The revelation comes to me, therefore, ALLAH states about such people i.e. they believe in some parts of divine (Quran) and they do not believe in some others, while ALLAH states about Sunnis those who have got the certain knowledge, say, “We did believe the whole Book, every Aayat is from our Lord, the Almighty ALLAH.” One can know through these verses that the Revelation to the Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) requires an eye quite different from the eyes of whole mankind and it requires ears quite different from the ears of the mankind and a heart quite different from the hearts of mankind. Therefore, he Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam states: “My eyes sleep and my heart does not.”

Through this statement one can derive that there is no relation corresponding to his eminence in any manner, except visible conditions and regarding his intrinsic status. He is quite different from the whole mankind, it seems to be eminent mankind but it has been classified in the highest rank of Angels like other Prophets, moreover, he is virtuous among all his Prophets. Therefore, Ulama say:

“Prophets have been placed among the mankind is in regard with the apparent manners but regarding their intrinsic status they have been classified with the Angels, therefore, they observe the whole earth from East to West in one sight, they hear the cracking of Heaven and they smell the fragrance of Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihi Salaam while he intends to descend down to the Prophets and all creations that’s why he himself says about him “If I intended to make anyone my intimate, I had Abu Bakr (Radi Allah-o-Taa`la Anhu) as my friend (companion). However, there is a relation between me and you in Islam and your Master is Khaleel (intimate) of Rehman (The Compassionate).” Naseem-ur-Riaz, the distinguished work of Imam Shahbuddin Khifajyi.

That’s why our Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) says, “I witness what you do not witness and I hear what you do not hear”. It is quite short which has been mentioned above, much more has been left out. I conclude with these few words: May ALLAH accept them and may ALLAH bestow all of us to keep on the right path having the reverence and respect of His Holy Prophet (Sallal-Laahu Alaihi Wassallam) and all the belongings of him. May Allah keep us away from the company of misled people AAMEEN.

QUESTION

Generally people use the word “hand”, for Allah, such as they say that every thing is in the hand of Allah, whether the use of Allah is legal or not?

ANSWER

Really, Allah is free from body & soul. He is free from the hand of the creation as this hand is created by Him. Therefore, to apply the word for Almighty Allah with this intention is illegitimate. But Allah has stated the word “yad” (hand) for His Majesty. Ulama say that this “hand” (yad) is quite different from the above mentioned hand. The “yad” is an attribute of Allah which will exist forever and would never change. Here this “yad” (hand) means the hand of Divine Power of Allah so it can be used with this intention. People are advised to avoid this word and say that “the hand of Divine Power of Allah” or “the hand of Ominipotence of Allah” i.e. “The ya’de Qudrat”. Allah knows the best.

TERMINATING FATIHA
The above Shajrah Shareef is to be recited once daily after Fajar Salaah followed by the following Khatam Shareef.
(a) DUROOD-E-GHAU’SIYA – 7 times
(b) SURAH FATIHA – 1 time
(c) AYATUL KURSI – 1 time
(d) SURAH IKHLAAS – 7 times
(e) DUROOD GHAU’SIYA – 3 times

When you have completed reciting these, send the Thawaab to the Arwah (Souls) of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) all the Mashaa’ikh of your Silsila, and the Muslim Ummah in general. If your Peer-o-Murshid is still alive, make Dua for his good health, prosperity and spiritual advancement. If he passed away, then include his name in the Fatiha and make Dua for him and yourself on behalf of him. .

The following Waza’if is known as Panj-e-Ganj-e-Qaderi which should be
read daily after every Salaah. First, read 3 times Durood-e-Ghausiya, then
the specific Waza’if 100 times, terminating with Durood-e-Ghausiya 3 times.
After Fajr Ya Azeezu Ya Allah
After Zohar Ya Kareemu Ya Allah
After Asar Ya Jabbaaru Ya Allah
After Maghrib Ya Sattaaru Ya Allah
After Esha Ya Ghaf’faaru Ya Allah
By continuous reciting of these Waza’if, you will receive great Barkaat and
spiritual pleasure in this world and Akhira

Also After Fajr and Maghrib Salaah, it is Strongly Recomended to Recite
the Following Waza’if each 10 Times with Durood Shareef before and after:

Hasbi’yallahu La Ilaha il’la Huwa. Alaihi Tawaq Qaltu Wa Huwa Rabbul
Arshil Azeem. Rabbi Inni Massaniyad Durru Wa Anta Arhamur
Raahimeen
Rab’bi Inni Maghloobun Fantasir Sayuhzamul Jam’u Wa
Yu-walloonad Dubur
Allahuma Inna Naj Aluka Fi Noorihim Wa
Na’oozo Bika Min Shuroo Rihim.
If you continuously recite these Waza’if, Insha Allah, all your Jaa’iz desires
will be fulfilled and you will always be protected from your enemy.

Before commencing the Panj-e-Ganje Qaderi you may recite the following
Wazifa once. This will protect you from enemies & witchcraft, etc.

Bismillah hir Rahmaanir Raheem. Wash Shamsa Wal Qamara Wan
Nujooma Musakh’kharatim Bi Amrihi Alaa Lahul khalqu wal Amru
Tabaarakallahu Rabbul Aalameen. Gird-e-man Gird-e-Khaan-e-man Wa
Gird-e-Zan Wa Farzan daan-e-man Wa Gird-e-Maal Wa Dostaan-e-man
Hisaar-e-Hifaazat Tu Shud Wa tu Nigahdaar Baashi. Ya Allahu Bihaqqe
Sulaimaanabne Dawood Alaihimas Salaam Wa Bihaqqe Ahyan
Ashraahiyan Wa Bi Haqqi Aliqam Maliqan Taliqan Anta Ta’lamu Ma fil

Note: After reciting this once, blow on the Shahaadah finger of the right hand
and move this finger in a circle around the right ear for an odd number of
times e.g. once, thrice or seven times. This will protect you from all evil
forces.

QAZA -E-HAJAAT

These Wazifas are read if you desire something:

ALLAHU RABBI LA SHAREEKA LAHU

Recite this Wazifa 874 times with 11 times Durood Shareef before and after.

Make sure that you are in Wudhu, sit in the Tashahhud position and face the
Qibla. Read this Wazifa everyday until your problem is solved.

HASBUNAL LAAHU WA NI’MAL WAKEEL

Read this Wazifa daily 450 times with 11 times Durood Shareef before and
after. It must be read continuously when one is depressed.

TUFAIL-E-HAZRAT-E-DASTAGEER DUSHMAN HUWE ZER

This wazifa should be recited 111 times after Esha Salaah with 11 times
Durood Shareef before and after. This Wazifa is read with a desire to
overpower one’s enemies.

In connection with these 3 Wazifas, the following should be kept in mind:
Recite these Wazifas according to their specific amounts as indicated, e.g.
874; 450 and 111.

The first two Wazifas can be read at any time during the day.
The third Wazifa must be recited only after Esha Salaah.
For the sake of Barakah (to those who do not have any problems), one may
read the first two Wazifas 100 times each with 3 times Durood Shareef
before and after daily.

ZIKR (REMEMBRANCE OF ALMIGHTY ALLAH)

The following Zikr is known as Zikr-e-Nafi and is usually read softly. The
manner in which this Zikr is read is as following:

1. La ilaaha illal laah 200 times
2. Ilal laahu 600 times
3. Allahu Allahu 400 times

The Zikr must commence and end with 3 times Durood Shareef.
The second type of Zikr is known as Zikr-e-Jahr and is usually recited aloud.
The procedure of Zikr-e-Jahr is:

1. Recite Durood Shareef -10 times
2. Recite Istighfaar -Astagh firullah -10 times
3. Fazkurooni Azkurkum Wash kuruli walaa Takfuroon -10 times
After reciting all of this make dumm (blow) on your self and begin the Zikr:
4. La ilaaha illal laah 200 times
5. Illal laa 400 times
6. Allahu Allahu 600 times
7. Haqq Haqq 100 times

METHOD OF RECITING THE HOLY QURAN

The Awliyah-e-Kaamileen have mentioned that there is no better Wazifa than
that of the continuos recital of the Holy Quran. They have given us a method
of how we should also undertake the complete recitation of the Holy Quran.
It has been divided into the separate days.

Friday: Sura Fatiha till Sura Maida
Saturday: Sura In’am till Sura Tauba
Sunday: Sura Yunus till Sura Maryam
Monday: Sura Ta Ha till Sura Qasas
Tuesday: Sura Ankabut till Sura Saad
Wednesday: Sura Zumar till Sura Rahmaan
Thursday: Sura Waa’qia till the end

One should try one’s level best to practise on this manner of completing the
Holy Quran. One may not do so immediately, but we should

DUROOD-E-RADAWIYYA

The following Durood should be read 100 times after every Salah if possible.
Especially after Jummah Salaah, the men should stand together facing
Madinah Shareef and recite this Durood Shareef with absolute respect. The
Durood is:

“Sallal laahu alan Nabiy’yil Umiy’yi Wa Aalihi Sallal Laahu alaihi wasal’lama Salaataw Was salaaman alaika Ya Rasoolallaah”

The following benefits are derived from reciting Durood-e-Radawiyya:

1. The one reciting it is blessed with 300 mercies of Almighty Allah.
2.Almighty Allah send peace upon him 2000 times
3.5000 good deeds are written in his Naama’e A’maal (Book of Deeds)
4.5000 of his sins are forgiven
5.His status is elevated by 5000 folds
6.It will be written on his forehead that he is not a hypocrite
7.It will be written on his forehead that he has been freed from the fire
of hell
8.On the Day of Qiyaamah, he will be amongst the Shuhada (Martyrs)
9.He will gain Barakah in his wealth
10. There will be blessings amongst his children
11. He will be powerful over his enemies
12. People will have love for him in their hearts
13. He will see Huzoor (sall Allahu alaihi wasallam) in his dream.
14. He will leave this world with Imaan.
15. On the Day of Qiyaamah, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sall Allahu alaihi
wasallam) will shake hands with him
16. The intercession of Rasoolullah (sall Allahu alaihi wasallam) will be
compulsory on him
17. Almighty Allah will be pleased with him in such a manner, that he will
never be displeased.

WHAT ONE SHOULD DO BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP

You should lie down with both the knees straightened and both hands on the
chest. Then the following should be read:

1. Ayatul Qursi -Allahu laa ilaaha illa hu huwal (Complete) once.
2. The four Quls -once. Sura Ikhlas must be read 3 times.

You should then blow upon the palms and pass them on the entire length
and breadth of your body. You may also do this for the infants who are not
able to read. It is also recommended that you learn the Suras Waaqia,
Yaseen and Mulk.

You should read these Suras before sleeping. As long as you do not know
them by heart, you may recite them by looking at the Holy Quran. Thereafter,
you should you should lie on the right side without talking. If you have to talk,
then you may do so, but you should recite Sura Kaafirun before going to
sleep. If this procedure is followed then, Insha-Allah, you will be protected
from all evil forces.

Insha Allah the reciter will pass from this world with Imaan and will attain
blessings through the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Those who do
not know how to read the Quran properly should be swift in learning as it is
Fard to do so. Be sure to recite every alphabet with correct pronunciation.
The benefits of reciting the following Surahs before going to bed:

1. Surah Mulk – Protection from Azaab (punishment) of the grave.
2. Surah Yaseen – To be recited for Maghfirat (Pardon)
3. Surah Waaqia – Protection from hunger.
4. Surah Dukhaan – the reciter will rise in the morning in a condition that 70,000 Angles will be making Istighfaar for him.

IMPORTANT ADVICE

1. Remain steadfast on the teachings of the Ahle Sunnah Wa Jamaah.
Stay away from all those who are against the Ahle Sunnah Wa Jamaah,
such as the Deobandis, Wahabis, Qadianis, Shias, Moudoodis and Nadwis.
Think of them as your enemies.

Do not listen to their speeches.
Do not sit amongst them. Abstain from reading any of their books since (may Allah forbid!) it does not take much time for Shaitaan to put evil into a person’s
heart.
The Deen and Imaan are the most valuable possessions of a person.

To protect one’s Imaan one must strive to the best of his or her ability.

Respect of the world and it’s wealth and the life of this world is only bound to
this world. Deen and Imaan will always be of importance in your homes.
To be aware of this is most important.

2. To be steadfast in performing the 5 daily Salaah is very important. For
men to perform Salaah with Jamaah in the Masjid is Waajib.

Those Muslims who do not perform Salaah are only human by name and not
by spirit since they do not fulfill their duties as human beings.
To make Salaah Qaza because of your job, business, etc. is to be totally ungrateful to Almighty Allah. No good employer will stop his staff from performing their
Salaah. If any employer does so, then to work for such a person is Haraam.

No means of gaining Rizk (Sustenance) can give the Barakah of Salaah. The
giving of Rizk is in the Power of Almighty Allah, Who has made Salaah Fardh
upon us and He shows great displeasure when Salaah is left.

3. Perform all those Salaah which you have made Qaza. If you do not
perform your Fardh Salaah, then your Nafil (optional) Ibaadah does not have
any certainty. So, beware, and be sure to perform your Salaah before your
time on this earth expires.
Always make Niyyah in Qazaa for the first Namaaz you have missed. In other words if you have 100 Qaza of Fajr, then say, & I am making Qazaa for the first very Fajr which I missed.= Do the same for all other Salaah. Qazaa is only for the Fardh and Witr Salaahs.

In other words, there will be all in all 20 Rakaats Qazaa Salaah for any given
day.

4. Keep all those Fasts which you have missed out. The Holy Prophet
Muhammad Salallahu alaihiwasalam has stated,

“So long as a person does not keep his previous
Fast, the present Fast is not accepted.

5. Those who are Saahib-e-Nisaab, should give their Zakaah. One must not
delay in doing this, since by doing so, one will receive punishment and
spiritual torment. The Zakaat of each year must be paid before the year
ends. If one has not given Zakaah of the present year, then he should
accommodate it in the following years Zakaah so that the wealth may be
purified. If one has given more than the amount due, then he may carry it
over to the next year. Almighty Allah does not destroy the good actions of
any person.
6. Hajj is Fardh upon those who have the means of accomplishing it. In
commanding the Fardh of Hajj, Almighty Allah says, AWa Man Kafara Fa
In=nal Laaha Ghaniyun Anil Aalameen. The Prophet Salallahu alaihiwasalam has said the following concerning those who intentionally leave out Hajj: AHe will either die a christian or a jew. We ask protection in Allah from this. To be protected, Make your Hajj.

7. Protect your self from evil, lies, back-biting, adultery, sodomy, tyranny,
dishonesty, falsehood, pride, etc. To shave off or trim the beard is to be in the
garb of a faasiq. Abstain from all bad actions. Those who remain firm on
these seven points, shall be blessed with the promise of Allah which is Jannat.

SPECIAL ADVICE TO THE MUREED

1. O my beloved Mureed (disciple)! Remember that if you live life as
prescribed by the Shariah, then on the Day of Qiyaamah, you will be highly
successful and enlightened.

2. O my beloved Mureed! Remember that you have pledged to refrain from
anything which is against the Commands of Almighty Allah and His Beloved
Rasool (sall Allahu alaihi wasallam)

3. O my dear Mureed! You have pledged to reamin within the folds of the
Ahle Sunnah Wa Jamaah and that you will refrain from the company of all
misled sects and groups. Remember! Do not die, but in the state of Imaan.

4. O my beloved Mureed! You have pledged to perform all the Faraa’id of the
Shariat-e-Muhammadi (Sall Allahu alaihi wasallam), the Salaah, the Fasting,
the Hajj, and the the giving of Zakaah. Remain steadfast in these duties.

5. O my beloved Mureed! You have pledged to fulfil all the commands of
Shariah, so do not break this pledge which you have made.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PARDAH

It is compulsory upon the Muslim females to have Pardah. Those women
who do not have Pardah are not really Muslims in the true sense. You
cannot receive spiritual advancement if you deliberately go against the
Shariah of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). The men of the house
should make sure that the women are in Pardah (proper Islamic attire).

SEEK AND YOU SHALL ACHIEVE

Strive in seeking closeness to Allah. Strive and surely you shall be
successful. Strive in Allah’s way for Almighty Allah says, ‘He who seeks a
path towards me, I will certainly show him the way.’ The Holy Prophet (sall
Allahu alaihi wasallam) says, ‘He who seeks an object will certainly receive it’
However, the pre-requisite for this is, true love and respect.

Love and respect for the Murshid is love and respect for the Holy Prophet (sall Allahu alaihiwasallam) and love and respect for the Holy Prophet (sall Allahu alaihiwasallam) is love and respect for Almighty Allah.

O my Dear Mureed!Remember the Concept of Tauheed (Allah is one), The Rasool (Sall Allahualaihi wasallam) is one and your Peer is One.

One should recite the Durood Shareef as much as possible. The recital of
the Durood Shareef causes the reciter to receive immense Barakaah. This
should also be remembered by the students, that if they do not have the time
to receive the wazifas, then they should continue to recite the Durood
Shareef in abundance.

TASAWWUR-E-SHAIKH (VISUALIZING THE SHEIKH )
Always try and visualize your Shaikh whenever you are alone. Do so with
total love and sincerity. Visualize that you are seated in front of your Shaikh
and that the both of you are present in the Court of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah
(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Imagine that the ray of Noor (Light) is
descending upon the heart of your Murshid and from his heart it is being
transferred to your heart. If you continue in this manner, you will be freed of
all your worldly concerns and you will become more spiritually elevated.

May Almighty Allah assist you in this world and in the hereafter through the
Wasila of the Holy Prophet (Sall Allahu alaihi wasallam) and all the
Masha’ikh of the Silsila Qaaderiyah Barakaatiyah Radawiyyah Nooriyah.

THE VIRTUES OF RECITING A SHAJRAH

There are many virtues in reciting ones Shajrah, of which a few are
mentioned below:

1. Memorising the chain of Awliyah upto Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu alaihi
wasallam).
2. The Zikr and remembrance of Saaliheen (Awliyah) is the means of
receiving Allah’s Rahmah (Mercy)
3. Performing the Esaal-e-Sawaab for all the Spiritual Grand Masters of the
Silsila. This is a means of receiving the spiritual guidance and blessings.
4. When the mureed remembers them in times of comfort, the Awliyah of the
Silsilah will remember him in times of his hardship and they will be of
assistance to him.
